2/1/18 - Back pain & speed skating -  

Proper care of your spine is crucial for your performance while you train and race.  If there is any vertebral or muscular imbalance it can cause fatigue and/or pain.  There are many things that you can do to take good care of your spine while training and racing.  Stretching, core work and stability exercises are great ways to support your spine but the best thing you can do is get checked by a Chiropractor.  Chiropractor’s are the only physicians specifically trained to diagnose and treat miss-alignments in the spine.  This will not only decrease any pain you might have but it has been proven to improve your performance.  I have been working with World class athletes for many years with methods and techniques that are proven to have great results.  Feel free to contact me if you are interested in learning more.

1/1/18 - New year - Preventing Injuries with new training - 

Many people start off the new year with great goals and expectations.  Everyone likes to set resolutions this time of year however diving in too deep too fast can be a bad thing.  If your body is not used to strenuous activity make sure you start off light and slowly increase.  Give your body a chance to adapt at regular small increments and you will significantly decrease your chance of injury.  Always make sure to warm up and stretch before any high intensity training.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me and ask.
